Privacy Policy
This policy explains what happens to information when you use ZodiacCalendar.com. Effective October 17, 2026.
The short version
- The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are useful.
- There are no accounts, sign-up forms, comments, ads or affiliate links.
- The sign finders run in your browser. The birth date you enter is never sent anywhere.
- You can block analytics with the options listed below.
Google Analytics 4
Every page loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-MXR0CM2LFX), which is provided by Google. It records things like the pages you view, how you arrived (for example from a search engine), your general location (country, region or city, worked out from your IP address), and your device, browser and screen size. It sets first-party cookies, usually named _ga and _ga_MXR0CM2LFX, to tell repeat visits apart. Google explains these cookies on its GA4 cookie usage page.
Google says that Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses from users in the EU, Switzerland or the UK; it derives coarse location from them and drops them (Google's explanation). How Google uses data from sites that use its services is described in Google's partner-sites page.
The site also sends two small events to Google Analytics:
- outbound_click: when you follow a link to another website, the address of that link and the page you were on.
- sign_lookup: when you use a sign finder, the sign it showed, whether the date was a cusp date and which tool you used. The date you entered is not sent.
How to opt out
- Install Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Block or delete cookies for this site in your browser settings.
- Use a content blocker or a browser that blocks analytics scripts. The site works the same without them.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by Hostinger. Like most web hosts, its servers may keep standard logs of requests (such as IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time) for security and to keep the site running.
What we don't do
We don't sell personal information, run advertising, use affiliate links or build profiles of visitors. If any of that changes, this policy and the affiliate disclosure (linked in the footer) will be updated first.
If you email us (the address is on the contact page), we use your message and address only to reply and to fix whatever you reported.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or UK GDPR, Canada's PIPEDA or California's CCPA), you may have the right to ask what information is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to its use. We don't hold analytics data in a form tied to your name, but you can send any request through the contact page and we will help where we can. Requests about Google Analytics data can also go to Google.
Children
The site isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
When this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes too.
