Editorial Policy
Our pages are written for people first. Each page should be accurate, understandable and genuinely useful.
1. Answer the visitor's question
Every indexable page should answer a distinct question or provide a distinct reference. We do not create pages simply to target slight keyword variations.
2. Match wording to the evidence

| Scientific observation or definition | State it directly and cite an appropriate scientific source. |
| Historical or cultural claim | Name the tradition, period or institution when relevant. |
| Astrological symbolism | Use language such as “astrological traditions associate…” or “is interpreted as…” |
| Uncertain or system-dependent point | Name the uncertainty or the system rather than hiding it. |
3. Source hierarchy
- Primary scientific agencies, professional bodies and original institutional material.
- Museums, universities, cultural institutions and established reference works.
- High-quality secondary sources when primary material is not practical.

4. Astrology and astronomy are not interchangeable
Astronomy is a science. Astrology is a symbolic and interpretive tradition. A scientific source may support a statement about the ecliptic, planetary motion or constellations; it does not therefore prove an astrological personality interpretation.
5. Page requirements
- A clear answer near the top
- Readable headings and useful navigation
- Contextual internal links
- Clear titles and descriptions
- Useful image alt text
- Sources where factual claims need support
- A meaningful updated date
6. Updates
We change a page's updated date after meaningful editorial work. Routine deployment, formatting-only changes or automated sitemap generation should not make old information appear newly reviewed.
7. AI and software assistance
AI may assist with organization, drafting, coding and QA. It may not be used as the final authority for factual claims. Human editorial judgment remains responsible for what is published.

Material factual errors are corrected promptly. See the Corrections Policy.
