Source Library and Editorial Method

This site separates three kinds of information: scientific astronomy, historical or cultural tradition, and modern astrological interpretation.

How claims are labelled

Claim typePreferred language
Astronomy“is,” “is measured,” “is defined” when supported by scientific sources
Astrological tradition“traditionally associated,” “astrologers interpret,” “within astrology”
Uncertain boundary“approximately,” “commonly listed,” “depends on year and time zone”

Known limitations

Astrological schools differ on rulerships, house systems, orbs, ayanamsas and interpretive methods. The site names those differences rather than presenting one school as universal.
