Zodiac Reference Data
A small, transparent dataset containing the structural reference values used across ZodiacCalendar.com. It is available as CSV and JSON so the same assumptions can be checked or reused consistently.

What the dataset contains

Important limitation on date ranges
The date fields are standard reference ranges, not exact Sun-ingress timestamps for every year and time zone. A boundary birth needs an exact astronomical/ephemeris calculation. See Why Zodiac Sign Change Dates Vary.
Degree method
The degree fields use the tropical 12-sign system: a 360° ecliptic circle divided into twelve equal 30° sectors beginning with 0° Aries at the March-equinox reference point. See the 30° zodiac method.
Traditional rulers
The ruler field intentionally uses the traditional seven-planet rulership scheme so the dataset has one stable, internally consistent reference. Modern astrology can additionally associate Uranus with Aquarius, Neptune with Pisces and Pluto with Scorpio; those later associations are discussed on the relevant planet/sign pages.
Version and update policy
Dataset version: 1.0 (August 31, 2026). We change the version only when a field, definition or reference assumption materially changes. Formatting-only site deployments do not create a new dataset version.
